Greville Pabst Buys Back a Piece of the Gatwick for its Former Owners

Buyer's advocate Greville Pabst bought an apartment at the 2018 Block auctions for Yvette Kelly and Rose Banks, the twin sisters who lived in and ran the Gatwick Hotel for 46 years before selling the St Kilda building in 2017.
The sisters had settled on the largest apartment on the Block, built by Courtney and Hans, with an outlook over the Fitzroy Street they had worked on for more than four decades.
Greville bid on their behalf in a fast-paced auction that drew close to 70 bids and closed at $2.77 million, holding off Frank Valentic, who fought hard to the end.
Speaking afterwards, Greville described the purchase as a highlight of his time on the show and called it "a really emotional thing for me", pointing to how much the pair had done for their community and what it meant for them to keep a connection to the building.
Courtney and Hans met the sisters after the auction to congratulate them.
